Wildebeest Migration Safari
Four days in the Masai Mara timed for the river crossings — open-roof game drives, full-board camp and the Big Five.
This is the safari most people picture when they think of Kenya. You leave Nairobi early, drop through the wall of the Great Rift Valley, and by lunchtime you are in the Masai Mara — 1,510 square kilometres of grassland that carries the highest density of big cats in Africa.
Two full days of game driving give you time to work with your guide rather than rush: waiting out a lion pride at dawn, tracking a cheetah on a termite mound, and, between July and October, positioning at the Mara River for a wildebeest crossing. Nights are spent full-board at a comfortable tented camp inside or bordering the reserve.
