This policy explains what R&H WildQuest Tours & Travel does with your personal information. We keep it short and we keep it accurate.

What we collect

• Contact details — your name, e-mail address, phone number and country, when you enquire, request a quote, subscribe or make a booking.
• Booking details — travel dates, party size, dietary and accessibility requirements, and anything else you tell us that affects your trip.
• Technical data — your IP address and basic request information, recorded with form submissions to help us prevent spam and abuse.

We never see or store your card details. Card and mobile-money payments are entered directly on the payment provider's own secure page. We receive only a transaction reference and a paid/failed result.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To arrange, confirm and run your trip — which means sharing the necessary details with the lodges, camps, airlines, park authorities and guides on your itinerary.
• To take payment and issue receipts.
• To send you trip-related updates such as confirmations, balance reminders and pre-departure notes.
• To send occasional offers and travel notes, but only if you subscribed. Every such e-mail has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

Only the suppliers who need it to deliver your trip, plus our payment processor (Pesapal, and PayPal where you choose it) and our e-mail provider. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Some suppliers, such as park authorities issuing gorilla permits, require passport details. We collect these only when a specific permit requires them, and we delete them once the permit is issued.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become bookings: 24 months.
• Booking and payment records: 7 years, as required for tax and accounting.
• Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

This site uses a single session cookie to keep forms secure (CSRF protection) and to remember your progress through a booking. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Write to info@rhwildquesttours.com and we will respond within 30 days. Note that we may need to keep booking records for the statutory period above even after a deletion request.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled servers. Only staff who need your details to run your trip can see them. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority without delay.

Children

We do not knowingly collect data directly from anyone under 16. Details of children travelling are provided by the booking adult and used only to arrange the trip.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing bookings will be e-mailed to you.
